Though I enjoyed this book. It reminded me a little of Flavia de Luce series by Alan Bradley. A young lady interested in science learning her trade by her uncle which of course her father doesn't approve. So much twist and turns and all the crafty people makes Audrey question her thoughts but throughout her stalking of Jack the Ripper for answers to who he really is. Loved loved loved this book!
We follow Audrey Rose, a young lady in the 1880s that is apprenticing under her uncle in forensic medicine/studies. Well, she's doing it in secret as this is the 1880s and ladies just do not cut up dead bodies to study them. Her father is dead against her doing this, but it turns out that's not Audrey Rose's biggest problem. Read this as a buddy read with my girl Allison, company was great, book not so much :(

It started off really well, our heroine (I'm not even trying to be funny I've forgotten her name lmaooo) is training in the sciences with her uncle and whilst this is happening, Jack the Ripper starts stalking the streets, her uncle examines the bodies so she gets to see all the gruesome violence done on them.
