I will openly admit I have never finished a Steinbeck book. Even my wife was surprised. This book was mentioned by a 4WD review on Youtube I saw, and I had to check it out. When I read the summary I knew I needed to give it a shot. After reading Blue Highways, by William Least Heat-Moon, I fell in love with the wandering adventure of the road and the experience it brought.
