I am currently crying right now. Sobbing. I’ve read the last page. This is by far Emily Henry’s best book yet. I want to get amnesia so I can reread this book for the first time again. I felt immersed in this story and God, the ending was SO MUCH better than I could’ve ever imagined. I want nothing more than what Nora and Charlie have. I want someone like Charlie in my corner.

brb gunna continue crying.

I loved this story. The writing was beautiful with unique and creative imagery. Henry has a talent for placing you into the world of the characters. You experience their emotions and ride their character arc with them. Romantic, heart-warming and funny in parts. I loved the banter between Nora and Charlie. When literary agent Nora Stephens agrees to join her sister Libby to Sunshine Falls for a summer vacation, she starts to feel like she could be starring in her own small town romance novel. All except Nora keeps bumping into Charlie Lastra, a bookish brooding editor from back in the city. It would be a meet-cute if not for the fact that they’ve met many times and it’s never been cute.

My Grade: B ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
-Frienemies to Lovers
-Small town
-Bookstore
-Wonderful banter

LOVE everything by Emily Henry, can’t lie, and this book definitely held my attention throughout, but I knocked down a star simply because I felt like I couldn’t relate to the characters as much as I’d like to. I still loved the plot and was invested in the story, I just didn’t relate to this read as much as I think I did to Happy Place. Still a 4.5 star read for me and would def still recommend to a friend!!
