What Members Thought
For me, this was rather plodding. It wants to be some kind of sensational lesbian Dickensian epic but it’s so long and slow with all its best bits borrowed from stronger works that it ends up being forgettable and dull. Had it been tighter, this might have been a very enjoyable read.
