I read one of the authors adult books and enjoyed it so when I heard she had a new YA novel and it was set in the south I knew I had to try it.
This book was a mixture of Mean Girls and the fantasy/paranormal rolled into a book. I had never heard of hoodoo before and it is definitely interesting but kind of dangerous like all other magic aspects you read about. I'm also a fan of the whole debutante lifestyle.
