i honestly really really liked this book, i knew people said they found it predictable or saw the ending coming or whatever but maybe i’m just stupid cause everything totally surprised me lmaoo. bronwyn and nate are absolutely adorable, literally my otp. i love cooper and his relationship with kris and i grew to love addy a ton. there were so many plot twists that caught me off guard and it really kept my interest peaked. the only thing i didn’t like was how much things got repeated. we ...more

This was such a fun read! Definitely one of my favorite one-sitting books, I was able to turn my brain off and follow the plot without trouble. The execution makes up for its predictability, as there were some minor twists that I didn't expect. I felt amicable toward the characters as well, I appreciated that they all contributed to the mystery in one way or another and that they had their own backstories and secrets, which motivated me to keep turning the page. Finished this a few weeks ago and I have no thoughts on it. I don't hate it and at the same time, I don't love it. It's such a complicated feeling coz whenever I think of the book my mind goes completely blank.
So giving this a neutral rating.
Halfway through I wanted to stop, but at the same time, I wanted to see who the killer was.
Ans even though the reveal was kind of unexpected it wasn't a 'wow' factor. ...more

Ok, so 4.5 stars is what I'm going with, because the book was great, there were tiny clues here and there, the character development was *chef's kiss*, but I expected the ending. If I'm being honest, it wasn't my initial theory, but I did guess several parts right out of the gate, and only about 3/4 in did I figure out how everything fit together.
