Okay, I actually loved the plot running through this book. The concept was engaging throughout, there was never a dip in the pacing or a part of the narrative that I didn’t care for. I was there for ALL of it. The love interest (enemies to lovers kinda in a soft way) was perfectly executed in my opinion. The world setting was new for me, I’ve never read a plot based entirely on pirates, but it was extremely interesting. The plot twists at the end shocked me, but they weren’t necessari ...more

I absolutely loved the strong female presence in the book! Alosa is strong-willed, strong-headed, feisty and an absolute fighter.. I loved her in the book.

The story just ended at a cliffhanger and I don't quite know what to feel about it.. I know the Pirate King definitely has some trick up his sleeve, I just can't trust him at all..

I love Riden though.. He is really charming! ❤️ ...more
