What Members Thought
I appreciated the concept of the story and it definitely had elements to kept the pages turning - the survivalist setting within a dystopian world, borderline-sociopathic antagonists, some steamy romance, the curious bits about the language of flowers. The foolish and misguided protagonist drove me crazy though and the author was more interested in delivering surprises to the reader than in laying clues to build up them. There will be fans of this book but in my opinion it's not a winner.
