Honestly I have no idea why I didn’t enjoy this book.
I liked the characters, culture and supernatural elements, and the dedication to diversity and representation. (Also the ending was vv wholesome). I REALLY wanted to love this book but I can’t ignore how thoroughly boring I found it. I found myself frequently putting it down, only picking it back up again because I needed to read it for a book club.
