This book was beautifully written. The enemies to lovers trope brought about knives to throats, 'I was sent to kill you' angst... so naturally it was my favorite part. I feel like each page yielded another quote that I wanted to permanently hold inside my head. The characters offered a complexity that left me eager to follow their development into the next book.
