This book got me out of a reading slump.

I think this is enough proof that I loved it but before the review I have to thank the book(srry for wasting your time):

I was in despair,
And was very much aware,
This was a nightmare,
But a very real one.

So in the middle in despair,
That precious book came,
Came to claim,
A victory over the cruel slump,
And only with a single jump,
Put an end to the awful slump!!

Okay I have mixed feelings about this book.. First off, the story was great -- I loved the idea, loved the characters (specifically Four). But... The writing was not so great. I cringed multiple times at some of the descriptions. BUT I STILL LOVED THE BOOK.

I loved this book. Unfortunately I watched the film before I read the book, but I like the similarities and the differences and I couldn't put it down. I feel like Tris and Four's relationship goes into more depth through the book and the understanding of Tris' fears are a lot clearer in the book. For me the book cleared everything up and was a wonderful way to go back into Tris' world. It's safe to say that I preferred the book to the film, but then again that's usually the way.
