Soooo, I have thoughts. And theories. Not good ones. But theories nonetheless.

But mostly, I cannot wrap my head around this mystery. I am absolutely awful at riddles and I would be a terrible detective. There were so many twists and turns throughout this book, and I just want to know who Truly Devious is!! I had so many different suspects and I still have no idea as to who they could possibly be.

Near perfect. I'm embarrassingly afraid of horror and this YA murder mystery creeped me out, but Truly Devious was a beautiful blend of eloquent language, academic atmosphere, and chilling scenes with murder. I loved Stevie and how self-sufficient she is, even when no one takes her true crime knowledge seriously. The pacing was slightly slow, but I can't wait to read the sequel! ...more
