Shelves: fantasy, bad-plot-or-pacing, adult, bad-morals, fairytale, unrelatable-characters, elves-and-fae-folk, high-fantasy, probably-a-bad-book, new-adult

Feyre should be dead ten times over. This felt like a super unrealistic book, and made me feel sorta digusted half the time. Sorry, y'all. Maybe it was just the audiobook? (I think it made everything sound really cheesy.)

I suppose the writing/descriptions was talented, but I wasn't very impressed. I might try again sometime with the book (not the audiobook) version, but this is definitely not a suitable for read for most people under 17. ...more

This is not the typical genre that I enjoy reading, but after seeing so many amazing reviews I decided to give in and read it….and I am so glad I did! I loved this book so much. It had romance, humor, suspense, and a little bit of pretty much every other genre tucked inside of a fantasy novel. I cannot wait to read the others in this series.
