I love subversive writing and this has to be one of the most accomplished works of this kind that I have read in recent times. Simply structured, written with beautiful economy, it moves from the outstanding opening chapter to its finish with few diversions along the way. A book where the central drama is set out at the start - the story then being about how we all got to that place that is decribed in the opening chapter. Highly recommended!
Loved this book! Would also be a great book club read - lots to talk about!
I loved this book- a page turner and def a surprise in the end. Not an usually expected ending.
