"Girl on a Train" was totally not what I expected it to be, but I really enjoyed reading it. It turned out to be a little along the lines of "The Rear Window" with a lot of the same undertones as "Gone Girl." Ultimately, it ended up to be about marriages gone wrong, and how lies and deception can lead to the unthinkable. While I didn't find any of the characters to be likable, it was very well-written and engaging, this is a good book if you like reading psychological thrillers or crime novels.

I am a fan! Let me first start off by saying that I didn't like any of the characters in this story, but with that said, I loved the story. I don't think the story would have been as good had there been likable characters. Each are damaged, flawed in their own way. Some more than others. It really makes you think about are memories and how they can be affected, even wrong, influenced by outside forces. Also, a lesson on assumption...things are not always how we perceive them to be... especially

This was a good read - especially thre second half of the book. It has been compared to Gone Girl, but I much prefered GG over this one. This one's ending wasn't a shock like the other was.

2015's "this year's Gone Girl" isn't terrible, but it's not that great, either. Plot twists were fairly predictable whereas her characters bounced all over the place. Here's hoping that 2016's version of "Gone Girl" will be better.
