I'm conflicted about this book. On the one hand, I loved it. I loved learning more about all of the "Astrowives." It felt like I was getting a sneak peek into the complicated, stressful lives of these women as their husbands were flying rockets to the moon. Fans of Mad Men take note: this book is like opening a time capsule into the 1950s-1960s, into a woman's world that was equal parts public and hidden.
