This is one of those YA novels that will stay with me for quite some time.
It is about the friendship of Monday and Claudia, who are so close, they are oftentime mistaken as sisters — and by their classmates as lesbians. But more than that, they have an undeniable connection that only they will completely understand. And, it is about the adults in their lives that support them, let them down, love them, and defile them. It's a story I won't soon forget.
