when enne’s mother goes missing, she leaves her finishing school to look for her in a dangerous city. her only lead is the name levi glaisyer, who she soon finds out is a con man. enne offers him compensation for helping her find her mother, so he reluctantly agrees. their journey is far from easy, though, as they run from levi’s enemies and become ensnared in a dangerous game.
