What Members Thought
This is the first graphic novel I’ve ever read. I’ve gotta say, I really enjoyed it. I wasn’t expecting a graphic novel to be able to delve into issues like racism with such depth. I read it along with a class of special needs teenage learners who weren’t always able to pick up on the nuances of the story but it helped open up discussions about racism, discrimination and prejudice. All around, a great read!
