This book is horrendously underrated!!! If you’re reading this, just please pick up this book. The message Cinderella is Dead gives us is so important! There’s a sapphic releatinship, the protagionist is black, and the representation in this book is just perfect! The plot was amazingly done, too.:) The worldbuilding wasn’t the best, but we can work on that. the ending of this book was better than I could have imagined!!
Giving this 4 stars:))

I’m not gonna lie, I found this on #booktok and lovedddd the cover! The genre isn’t my usual cup of tea, but I bought it to try something new and I am so glad I did! Very different, but thoroughly enjoyable, couldn’t stop turning the pages - rated ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on #goodreads first couple of points - both queer and black women strong which is incredible, I am all for a diverse book and this screamed diversity, and who doesn’t want to see them over throw a patriarchy?! This book was very hyped up on Booktok, so I was really excited to read this one. This is a retelling of Cinderella featuring a WLW relationship. I was triggered by the concept and expected to love it this book but in my opinion, it didn't live up to my expectations. The story felt rushed and there were some loose ends.
