Overall, a really interesting book & well laid out, but I floundered with all the odd names. A lot of that is my own ignorance & I think I would have enjoyed this more if I knew the names better. Well written book for people like me, the general reading public, who aren’t scientists. The book describes the different techniques for hunting dinosaur bones, the accidental discoveries, and how modern science has enhanced our understanding of the dinosaurs of the past and our current dinosaurs-the birdsongs! The application of statistics, chemistry, and the use of machines like a CAT scan have contributed much to our knowledge.
