Each one of us is a microbiome, with billions of bacteria literally on every bit of our skin and hair. Inside our bodies and in our cells, we have even more interesting little microscopic monsters. To be honest, this book lasted longer than my interest in the subject did, and by the end a lot of it felt familiar due to my interest in popular science articles. But this was quite well-written, and had a light touch of humor that helped get through occasionally dense bits of explanation.
Well researched, well organized, well written! It was a much more interesting read than I thought it would be.
