That ended way too soon for me! This is the second book in the Throne of Glass novellas. I have to say that even though I didn't get why Celaena had such a problem with being hot and sweaty (seeing as how my hands can turn a human into ice and I would love to be in the desert), but I guess I'm just not normal. As her punishment for disobeying the King of the Assassins she has to go the the Red Desert and gain respect and be trained by the Master of the Silent Assassins,this thought is the easier

I find the main character more engaging and interesting from reading the first two novellas. Despite her occupation as an assassin, I find her relate-able.
