I got 2 chapters into this and gave up. Nothing about the writing style worked for me (too on the nose with/self-aware of how it was in the future), too twee, and too lecturey, without having a clear framework. It starts off in first person POV and then reveals it's a log being left to unknown persons, but doesn't rely on that premise-like some editor was like "this needs a vehicle, here's one." Could work for someone else but I wasn't connecting with the story or characters an hour into the aud ...more
