Oh this was right up my alley and contained everything I could have hoped for and more. I can't wait for a full length novel in the future!!!

I guess I wanted more than I could have from this sequel. I enjoyed the worldbuilding bits about different types of bots and how they were operating - the interaction with ART was a high point - but the side plot was distracting and the conclusion rather anticlimactic. 3.5 stars rounded down. I hope Rogue Protocol is better.

Reading this directly after All Systems Red made the plot feel slow. It wasn’t until about 65% of the way through that my interest was sustainably held when I picked it up to read.
Even then, it seemed to take a backseat to the other stories I had to read. I’m not sure if my enjoyment of and desire to dive into them affected how much I enjoyed Artificial Condition.
I still like Murderbot, and I’m still interested in following their story. There’s still so much to uncover.

I just really want to hang out with Murderbot. But the thing is, Murderbot doesn't want to hang out with me. And that's really ok.
