Take the title and leave out the words 'the war'.
You then have the perfect reflection of my present feelings.
What an utter waste of time!

Several of my Goodreads-friends already read this book and their ratings varied between 1 and 5*.
So I knew before going in that this would be a case of "either you love it or you hate it".
For me it was definitely the latter.

Update: 11/12/19 Ya I still didn’t like this. Just definitely not my thing. I get why people like it but I just really really didn’t

I basically just ended up skimming this. This was just a bit too weird for me and I didn’t connect with the characters or anything that was happening. Cool concept but it just definitely wasn’t my thing

This story follows Red and Blue, two fighters on opposite sides of the time war. Their relationship begins when Blue leaves a taunting letter for Red on the battlefield. They continue to write each other messages throughout time and their affection slowly

In a distance future and not-so-distant past, a set of opposing agents exchange messages across time and space in a time war.

I tried to read this is 2021, and despite being an only FOUR HOUR audiobook, I DNF’d. Out of sheer embarrassment, I put myself on a waitlist to try again this year. After over six months of waiting, I have once again reached the 25% mark and am utterly disinterested. I could force onward (again, only FOUR. HOURS.) but it would be more honest to admit defeat and call thi
