What Members Thought
Even though 1984 was written 70 years ago, it’s message is still relevant today. I read this book in school coming in with a low expectation and ended up appreciating the book a lot more. Some parts were very tedious and “unnecessary” but overall a decent book. I was also caught off guard about the sexual content and detailed torture scenes so if this is something you don’t want to read, this is not the book for you.
