What Members Thought

alisha (taylor’s version)

this book was better than i expected, the plot building was amazing and i LOVE jude. i wish we got more romantic tension between cardan and jude earlier on in the book rather than have everything crammed into the end, and the book got pretty confusing at times with all the names and stories, but all in all, i loved it, and the plottwists in the ending were really good.

*4.5 stars. wow. i really really liked this book. i connected with jude’s character right away which made it easy to enjoy. also i’m literally IN LOVE with cardan. the plot and plot twists were very interesting too. the pacing of the book could have been a little bit better though. so much happened in the end and the first half of the book seemed a little pointless. it was also sorta confusing. overall i loved it and i’m excited for the next two.

This book took an incredibly long time to finish. At times it was very dull, but I absolutely love the aesthetics of this world. The plot twist at the end, oh my god.

Couldn’t put it down- world-building was so creative and fun. Love the main character Jude, mainly because she doesn’t have many morals and that makes a change in fantasy books.
