Wow. So this is definitely one of my favourite Christie’s that I’ve read to date.
A pervasive and deep rooted sadness and lingering of evil. The atmosphere in this sticks to you. I couldn’t shake it off for quite some time.

Very suspenseful throughout, with a greater Miss Marple presence than other outings. Follow Miss Marple as she hits the road in a quest for justice!
This is my LEAST favorite Miss Marple book. In my opinion, there were no interesting characters, there was no atmosphere (not even pleasant atmosphere, such as Miss Marple's garden), and, worst of all, no fascinating mystery to unravel. Poor Miss Marple is asked to solve a mystery in the cause of justice, but she spends the first half of the book wandering around England wondering what the mystery is in the first place.
