What Members Thought
I think there was a sixth pig (and not a little one, either), namely Amyas Crale. The man was certainly no treasure, being a drinker and a womanizer. Plus, he took his wife absolutely for granted! Some people just ask to be killed, don't they?
Agatha Christie knew a thing or two about unfaithful first husbands, who suddenly announce that they must be free to marry a younger woman. Mind you, if her biographer reports truly, she was also quite tolerant of her second husband's straying as long as h ...more

I thought about which Agatha Christie to read next after revisiting And Then There Were None and settled on Five Little Pigs. I did not know much about this one. What little I did know was from non-spoiler, high praised reviews on Bookstagram. So naturally, since it’s in our family’s Kindle library, I decided it would be my next mystery read.

This is a cold case (the only Agatha Christie cold case mystery that I know of) in which Poirot investigates a murder that happened 16 years earlier. I love the psychology of this novel as well as the insight it gives into Hercule Poirot’s personality.
