I really loved the unique way that this book was written (and for a hot second, I was definitely sold that it was a real band that I had just never heard of). There were times I wished I could hear exactly what a song sounded like, or how the album cover looked, so you know the author was doing her job right. I would absolutely recommend it for anyone who loves the 1970s or is looking for a light, easy summer read.

While it drags a bit at the beginning, the last half is electric. I never thought I would be so invested in a band that doesn't exist and whose music I've never heard. That's a testament to Reid's creativity, and also the phenomenal actors narrating the audiobook.

If you were a fan of "Behind the Music" -- or just a f

I think a lot of the reason I liked this book so well was because I listened to the audio version. What a wonderful performance by all of the narrators. It really made the characters come to life.
