Emily Henry can do no wrong! Loved the chemistry between January and Gus. Such a beautiful story about getting through the hard stuff with the ones you love. Also loved that Henry embraced the fact that not all families are perfect, but it okay to love them or be mad at them anyway.

a refreshing read while i’m in the middle of “A Little Life”. Most romance books read like better fanfics to me. It doesn’t help that the women in Henry’s books are usually writers or creators, it feels like i’m reading her self insert fanfic. The plot is always predictable and at some parts boring. This isn’t a bad book it’s just not for me. I’ll never understand how some people only read this genre, it barely feels like reading. I just adored everything about this book. I adored all of the characters, especially the two mains. Grief was handled in a really beautiful way too, and reading how the characters pushed through it was heart-wrenching! I had all the warm and fuzzies reading this one ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
