Nothing special as plot, but it really catches you and keep you glued to the pages till you've ended it.
It deals mainly with the sense of inadequacy of parents...how I feel it!!!

3.5 ……..There has been a lot of hype about this book and while I thought it was good, I don’t know that it was great. In this book, children had been abducted and the story went that they were lured away by a whispering man, hence the creepy factor. There is a slight supernatural element to the story, but it doesn’t go past surface level. Which, I think if the supernatural aspect was expanded, I would’ve thought it a scarier book. I didn't like this book as much as I thought I would. I thought it was more of a mystery/serial killer type book. It spent way too much time on the dynamic between the main characters - father and son. And not enough time on the crime story. Bottom line, in my opinion it didn't live up to the hype. ...more
