I absolutely loved this book and the cast of characters. Alice hits her head at the local gym and when she wakes up she is very confused. She remembers waking up that morning happily married, close to her family, and newly pregnant. Instead it is 10 years later and she isn't as close to her family as before, has three children, and is going through a divorce. I have mixed feelings about Liane Moriarty as a writer, but just loved this book. The best I’ve read in a while.

What Alice Forgot was a solidly good story. I enjoyed my time with the characters and seeing them work through their struggles and triumphs.
This was my fourth book by this author, and I'm glad we are parting ways on good terms. My first read, Big Little Lies, was an immediate favorite. Then the next two titles I read were disappointing. For some reason, I just couldn't get into this book as much as I wanted to. I can't really put my finger on what about this book didn't engage me. Maybe it was just poor timing on my part. Perhaps I found it difficult to connect with the main character.
