What Members Thought
Well written but a bit unbalanced, and as a white person I couldn´t cope with the brutal masculinity of a different (and past) culture.
The story takes place in Nigeria, Africa prior to colonization during the first part and during colonization in the second, Queen Victoria sits upon the British Empire's Throne. The protagonist is Okonkwo, a member of a clan who's culture goes back through the ages. When missionaries invade his territory the two worlds end up clashing which sadly happened not only here but in other areas throughout the globe.
