Lovely book!! Very well written, very original story, and the descriptions of places and settings were great. I don't know if I would classify this as "romance" as much as I would "fantasy". I wanted to be completely swept off my feet in the romance department. Lol.

I am glad that I gave this book a second chance.
I dnf'd years ago due to the second person, present tense perspective that just rubbed me up the wrong way. Luckily second person was used sparingly and I got used to the present tense.
Once I got over that I was able to absorb myself in this original and creative book all about magic and the imagination. The author does a great job of portraying setting and bringing the story alive for the reader. On that count I cannot fault this book. I did, how ...more
