This book is fascinating and heart-breaking in equal measure. Children forced to become child soldiers who have had their childhood abruptly ended.
No child should ever be forced to pick up a gun and to fight for a cause they do not believe it. It is absolutely disgusting what has happened to these 'child soldiers.'
Ultimately, this book is one of hope. It is a testament to those children who somehow held onto hope and who never gave in to despair.
