Amie's Book Reviews
An absolutely fabulous true story of one woman's research and obsession with determining who the Golden State Killer was (is). It is a story that anyone who is interested in 'True Crime' must read and/or listen to in Audiobook format.
I found the author's attention to detail and her determination to find and bring this heinous killer to justice as an inspiring read.
I listened to this book on Audiobook and highly recommend this format for this particular tale.
I rate this Audiobook as 5 out of 5 S

Uniquely written. what I liked most about this book was Michelle let readers into her mind as well as the mind of a killer. I've read several true crime books, but this one was a memoir/ true crime. My only disappointment was the flow of the book was VERY uneven which could be because this book was put together after the author passed. I am however, excited to see what HBO will do for this book as a new series ...more

This was a well-written book. She was so interested in this cold case that, she did a lot of research. I was so glad that her husband was able to finish her book for her. Michelle, wouldn't stop searching for the answer for the Golden State Killer as he was named.
The good news is with all of her research and investing, They were able to catch the guy with the DNA, that was left behind. We have come a long way with our science of DNA.

✨the one with all the books✨
A little anti-climactic since Michelle passed away before the capture of the Golden State Killer. I wish she had lived to see it. Still, interesting to listen to and man, she put A LOT of time into her research. Kudos and much love and respect to her. RIP.
