This is a hot read. Not quite erotica, but plenty of expicit scenes. Stella is inexperienced in the romantic department and she calls upon the experince of a male escort, Michael. Even though the explicit scenes are memorable they don't overshadow Stella's difficulty with Asperger's syndrome. I like how this was woven into the novel making it a tender read where you feel something for the characters, not a disconnected raunchy one.

Like any good novel knowing the characters is the best part. Mich

My favorite kind of romance novel is one that makes my cheeks hurt from all the smiling I do while reading it. This was one of those novels! Definitely one of my favorite books of the year! Real review to come!

**EDIT 01/05/19**

You can find more of my reviews here at my blog: Take Me Away...

I was a bit late to the party on this one since its an adult title, but as soon as the reviews started coming in about how amazing it was and how sweet, I KNEW I had to get my hands on it. And I'm so glad I

I really wanted this book to be good, but it just...wasn't. The male lead's motivation makes no sense at all (the female lead is bordering on the edge of sex repulsed and that's attractive to him? Okay, creeper!), both leads are abandoning their characterization and principles left and right for mediocre sex that is neither well-written nor seems all that enjoyable to them, and the book is a good 100 pages longer than it needs to be. Off to the DNF shelf with you! ...more

4 1/2 Stars for sure and maybe a bit more. Total change of pace for me but oh what fun! Stella and Michael! I’m a fan!

WHOA! This is a whole lot spicier than I was expecting -- made for a very uncomfortable reading experience when smushed between two 50-something year old dudes on an airplane. HOWEVER, my expectations for a light-romance does not mean this disappointed.

This is a fun, contemporary romance with wonderfully unique characters. It follows the traditional romance plotting, but includes a non-white romantic interest and a nontraditional leading lady. I really loved it.

I used to read romance novels quite a bit, well medieval romances to be specific and sometimes western, but it has been some time. I picked up Helen Hoang's The Kiss Quotient, because it sounded cute and light and definitely a bit geek and that suited me to a tee. I would describe it as Romantic Geek Soft Porn.

The idea is cute and that is what I was attracted to. A successful young woman with Asperger's syndrome wants to learn all the ins and outs of a relationship so she hires an escort to ins

Once I got past the sexual harassment on the second or so page, I couldn’t put it down. Raunchy, which I haven’t read in awhile.
