I really enjoyed this book! Ellen Hopkins always does such a great job at writing about difficult topics. The only reason I gave this book 4 stars, is that sometimes I would get the characters confused. I had a hard time telling all the girls apart and how everyone was connected to each other.

I really liked Ellen Hopkins because she talks about real issues that face so many people in this world. Her stuff offers real, raw, and edgy reality that we would all like to pretend doesn't exist.
I love books that are in Verse; probably what put Ellen Hopkins on the top of my favorite authors list.
I found it a little confusing at first to keep track of the characters and who was linked to who. I like how the book was connected with the previous installment of the series; through Connor.

Perfect is the sequel to Impulse. Perfect follows the lives of Cara (Conner's twin sister), Kendra (Conner's ex-girlfriend), Sean (Cara's boyfriend), and Andre (Kendra's sister's boyfriend). The book shows us what is happening outside of Aspen Springs Psychiatric Hospital while Conner, Vanessa, and Tony are there. The book was good, but not as amazing as some of Ellen Hopkins's other books.
