DING! DING! DING! We have a WINNER! Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine will undoubtedly be my favorite read this month. I’m sure this book will also be on my Top Ten Read in 2018 list.

Eleanor Oliphant reminds me of that person we all know at the office who is a little bit weird, who everyone tip toes around because one just knows there is some emotional dysfunction there. Anyhow, this book sneaked up on me. At first, I liked Eleanor and I found her friendship with Raymund sweet. This is not a sweet chic lit book about a weird girl who finds a friend. I cannot describe how utterly happy I am that I decided to read Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine! I completely and utterly fell in love with Eleanor and all her social oddities and her awkwardness. At first, I thought Eleanor was just going to be another unusual, quirky character, maybe a bit odd and one-dimensional, but I completely misjudged the character!
