DING! DING! DING! We have a WINNER! Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine will undoubtedly be my favorite read this month. I’m sure this book will also be on my Top Ten Read in 2018 list.

I'll be honest, the only reason I actually read this book was because there is a character in it named Raymond. He has his flaws (as we all do) but is a good guy. Overall, it was a good book. It speaks on the importance of friendship and facing the truth of your past no matter how dark it may be.

I wanted this story to go on forever, I was that immersed in Eleanor's journey. Incredible read told in first person!

You can always tell when you are reading a book whether or not it will leave an impact on you. I thought this would leave an impact for sure, but I'm surprised by how much I still mull over this little gem. Eleanor is such an odd woman, but Gail writes so brilliantly that most women would be able to relate to facets of her personality. Gail pulled me in so effortlessly that while turning every page, I was rooting for a woman I probably wouldn't have been friends with in real life. It also made m

Time to reread Eleanor Oliphant. This may not be your favorite book if you don't like how Eleanor thinks, talks, reasons, copes, suffers; how she struggles to understand who she is, how to be "normal" in the world, learns to love, allows herself to be loved ... and has the courage to face the past.
