What Members Thought
So happy to have finished this book. I started it several times before finishing it, and I was determined to this time. (Listening to the audio version in the car helped.) The author presents a convincing data and policy argument about the drug war/ mass incarceration system as a mechanism for a racial caste system. It was hard to read because it was so disturbing and eye opening and because the policy information was so dense. I wish there were more solutions integrated earlier in the book beca
