What Members Thought

This was a brilliant essay/novella on women in fiction, creativity, and the need for a room of one's own. Some of her points are still very very valid, while some are a bit dated (because of feminist historians, we know about a lot more women writers than she did), but definitely worthwhile, inspiring reading. Why did I wait so long to read this? Well...perhaps I needed to be at this age to properly understand Woolf's words, but oh wow, how much truth there is in them. This essay is a feminist classic for a reason, and in 2019 still speaks so powerful, so critical and kind..definitely one every person should read once.

This should be read by everyone. It is still true and it is true for other intellectual pursuits as well as writing.
