The geisha seems to flow slowly and gracefully as she moves along her chosen path and that is the way Arthur Golden's novel Memoirs of a Geisha moves. The pace is slow and graceful unwinding like a low land river with nothing hurried or rushed. It is the story about a young Japanese girl is sold to an okiya or a geisha house.
