This book started off being weird and kind of confusing, but it started making sense when it got to part two. The main character was very unemotional and lived off of facts. For years I've had this classic sitting on my shelf, waiting to be read. Finally, I did so and wished I had done so sooner. I very much enjoyed the book's themes, the writing style and narrative. I have a strong interest in death penalty cases anyway, so this book was right up my alley. I feel like this novel touched on so many important themes, so many nuances of crime, punishment, judgement, and forgiveness.

A life in which i can remember this life on earth.Thats all i want of it. In the end, even Mersualt find his heart. With death eventually shows emotions and finally he managed to find some sort of freedom in the idea of death.
