This book struck a cord deep within me. Any novel that describes the immigrant experience is a hit with me. Though I am many generations American, I also come from a different cultural background then alot of people I know. "Fitting in", not belonging to a group, the pressure from family and friends to be more like this and less like that is something I am very familiar with.
