What Members Thought

Alzheimer. Something that you don't know that you have. I'm quite scared now actually. This was elegant and elaborate yet, somehow had a simplistic way of explaining things. The beauty of this book was the fact that it showed one's perspective on Alzheimer's and in an unforgettable interminable pattern of "what?" Forgetting is something I "forget" to think about a lot of the time. I'm glad I read this.

There is nothing is can add to what other reviewers have already said before me. Very well written without being over-emotional and VERY,VERY scary. I did not realise the speed with which Alzheimer can destroy a mind and it is devastating. The worst for me is knowing that you have it and it will destroy you is really bad, but knowing that you have passed it on to your children is too much to bare. I've just realized one of the biggest fears I had no idea I'd own. To forget.. all and everything. I think all I wish for now is that I'd be able to make good memories, and make that family who'd help me remember who I was when I no longer know who I am.
