This is kind of hard to review.
Malala became famous after being shot in the head by the Taliban at age 15. Here, she tells her background and how she came to be a target. There are great insights into Middle Eastern culture. I didn't realize how many different Muslim "sects" there, for instance. She tells how Pakistanis buy into conspiracy theories. I think this is because so many of them are true for them. Certainly a tragic and compelling story of this spirited and ambitious young girl and her father's influence upon her. Maybe it's just me, but I found it somewhat difficult to follow the story on audio, so I switched to the book mid-read. I'm glad to now know Malala's story and will be watching her and her foundation in the future.
