I FINALLY FINISHED THIS BOOK but then I seriously took my time with it (& not because the book was bad, I just had to be in the mood to actually read it). Also me and a friend are having a 24 hour read-a-long and this book (well actually the last 2 stories) was on my tbr. I also wanted to finish this book before 2017 was over, 'cause it was damn time I fini THERE WILL BE NO SPOILERS! I also wanted to finish this book before 2017 was over, 'cause it was damn time I finished this book. Let me tell you that it was a really fun non fiction book.

I'm actually quite obsessed with Greek mythology and in my free time I sometimes like to google some greek myths. So this book was pretty much the right one for me. I also really liked that it was narrated by Percy. Gotta love Percy (& his sass). I really enjoyed most myths, except the last two (i will talk about that later on). I also didn't know all the stories about some well and not well known heroes and it was fun to learn more about it. Yes I did knew quite a lot of them already but there were a few new myths too (well new to mee). I do have to admit that I have forgotten some of them but that's probably because of how slowly I read this book. But now I will talk about how I didn't really like the last two stories:

"As far as I'm concerned, anybody who's managed to read this entire chapter should also be made immortal as a reward for pain and suffering, but the Olympians didn't ask my opinion." - Percy Jackson. This perfectly described how I feel about myth Hercules. Like dude same. I really really dislike Hercules (I know it's technically Heracles but I prefere the name Hercules and most people know him by that name). Like give me disney hercules than I'm all yes!! But like the real/greek/myth hercules: LET HIM DIE!!!! GET HIM AWAY FROM ME!!!!!!! But seriously disney really messed up their version😂😂 lol it's totally not correct but I actually like their version of Hercules a 10000000000 times more. Same with Jason. Just like Hercules he's an asshole and I always felt bad for Medea (but in all honesty that girl was messed up too). But then she was pretty badass too. Messed up, blood thirsty but kickass too. I know Percy liked the hero Jason but I'm like nah he was an asshole too. Well most heroes were assholes😂 but yeah Percy's love for the original Jason (not brick loving Jason) made me like the story a bit less. I prefere the book I once read about the two of them.

But yeah this book was pretty fun and educational at the same time. And I wish there were some more non fiction books out there like this one. And I do agree with Percy about one thing: DO ADVOID HERA AT ALL COSTS!!!

Me encantó el libro. Rick Riordan es todo un escritor.

Percy Jackson, que mejor siga peleando monstruos jajaja. Ahora no puedo esperar a que llegue el libro que pedí de Amazon (sí, lo leí en digital, pero nooo es lo mismo), se los recomiendo bastante.
